Tom C
Tom Chruszcz – Senior Marketing Analyst
When Tom had achieved all that there was to achieve in
his hometown of Manchester, he set off for the golden
paved city of London and TrafficBroker in June 2006. A
career highlight so far is stumbling on his ex-band’s
name, ‘The Big Naturals’ in a rude keyword list.
Most likely to: Be eating crunchy nut cornflakes
Favourite 80’s band: Heuy Lewis & The News
Favourite Stallone quote: ‘You are the disease, I am thecure’ (Cobra)
-
Ernest
Ernest Doku – Technical Editor
After studying English and Lingustics at Manchester University,
Ernest worked as games tester and manual copywriter for Eidos.
Later Ernest moved into freelance marketing and PR before
joining the Omio team as Technical Editor. As a gadget lover,
writing and maintaining Omio is a dream. Ernest’s love of all forms of
entertainment has made him into a mine of useless knowledge which
has come in useful as contestant on the Weakest Link and Brainteaser.
Likes: Challenging expectations... and being cryptic
Dislikes: Apathy... also snakes
Claim To Fame:: Proud owner of a GamesMaster Golden Joystick
-
Pete
Pete Ross – Copywriter
Pete started in 2006 in PPC having worked in a B2B
publisher where he wrote articles about hydraulic lift
systems and portable lighting generators. As one of

with sentimental anecdotes about the good old days
when TrafficBroker worked out of one room in Highgate Studios.
Favourite Arnie quote: ‘Get to the chopper’ (Predator)
Least likely to: To go on an early morning jog
Favourite Film Villain: Jareth in Labyrinth (David Bowie)
-
Kate
Kate Crowley – Copywriter
Before TrafficBroker, Kate split her time between her
hometown and Oxford University. One was full of
drunks and drug dealers wielding screwdrivers, the
other was her hometown. Needless to say landing a
job at TrafficBroker as a Marketing Analyst was a relief!
Least likely to: Let a grammatical error slide
Interesting fact: The volcanic eruption at Tambora in
1815 had the force of 11 billion tonnes of TNT
Favourite Arnie quote: ‘It’s not a tumour’ (Kindergarden Cop)

Tom M
Tom Manning – Technical Analyst
Tom joined us in March 2007 when we poached him from
the music industry where his main highlight included
playing for the Queen (that’s the Queen, not the band).

in a curry house / on a football pitch (delete as applicable).
If you could ban one phrase what would it be?: Carbon footprint
What did you want to be when you were younger? Flash Gordon
Least favourite fashion trend: Low-cut skinny jeans on
guys. Put it away!
-
Daniel
Daniel – Business Analyst
Daniel is TrafficBroker’s man in black, I’ve never seen
him wear a pastel shade and if I did I’d ring the
doctor because something would definitely be up. In his long
stint at TrafficBroker, Daniel has headed a PPC team,
run publishing projects and now is working as a
Business Analyst
Most likely to: Be wearing a Cyberdog t-shirt

verbal insults hurt more than physical pain. They are,
of course, wrong, as you will soon discover when I stick

-
Jesus
Jesus Carrera – Front-end Developer
Jesus is our recent import from Spain. After working
there as a Programmer and Creative Director, he joined
us with the task of breathing life into our designs. In development
he loves mixing technologies as much as he loves mixing cocktails.
He even gets time to practice Capoeira, play the guitar and
enjoy video mixing (not at the time, surely?)
Most likely to: Be looking for la fiesta
Least likely to: Pronounce correctly "Leicester Square"
Interesting fact: Between each image that your eyes
capture, there is a brief resetting period of blindness,
that your brain covers with lingering after-images,
which makes your vision appear to be fluid and
uninterrupted, even though is not.
-
Alex
Alex Crowley – Technical Analyst
Before he started at TrafficBroker Alex worked at a
video rental shop/internet café, yet still managed to
get a first in philosophy. Who said watching films rots
the brain? When Alex isn’t touring the world on a bike
that cost more than the average house, he creates
wacky scripts for the strategy team.
Interesting fact: Alex has set foot in 4 continents in 72 hours
Motto: ‘If at first you don’t succeed, you’re not a Crowley’
Most likely to: To die from a script induced heart attack
-
Emma
Emma Coleman – Marketing Analyst
Emma’s is a true rags to riches tale: from lowly bar
wench in the dreary depths of a Carshalton pub to the
bright world of affiliate marketing as Strategy
Assistant in November 2006. Her American Studies
degree helped her in Las Vegas to pick the perfect
American breakfast, steak apparently.
If I was an instrument I would be: A Guitar Hero controller
Another interesting fact: I think Arnie's best role by far was in 'Junior'
Favourite book: The Hungry Caterpillar (fo’ realz)

-
Juan Pedro
Juan Pedro Calderon – Marketing Manager
Juan Pedro started in TrafficBroker in September 2007
as Marketing Analyst. His previous jobs included wine
consultant, a marketing manager in Chile and even a
scuba diving instructor. I wondered why he always
wears flippers. He’s currently studying an Executive
MBA at Imperial, juggling PPC campaigns and
coursework, he must be a brave man.

Favourite super villain: Zorak (Space Ghost Archvillain)
Beach holiday/city break: Beach holiday but away
from crowded resorts
-
Hannes
Hannes Ortner – Linguistics Analyst
Hannes started in the Strategy Team in 2007 as a

Unfortunately he lost his bag on the way back losing
him the equivalent of his winnings. You win some...
Least Likely To: Turn up early
Favourite Zoo animal: Penguin
Star sign: Pisces
-
Christos
Christos Proitsis – Senior Strategist
If there was an award for smoothness, Christos would
have surely won it by now. As it happens he did win a
company award for outstanding contribution for his
sterling work as a Key Account Manager. But he
deserves it, as key member of TrafficBroker since 2006
and the sixth employee he has contributed considerably
to the success of the company over the years.
Favorite Food: Seafood pasta and white wine
Hates: “Molōn labe!”
Proud of: Quitting smoking for 2nd (and final)
time after visiting Allen Carr

Isabelle
Isabelle Dongo – Office Manager
Originally from France and Cameroon, Isabelle went
to university in Germany and moved permanently to
the UK in 2001. In March 2007 she started as Office

Favourite drink: Any sweet cocktail will do
Favorite quote: We only live once

-
Philippe
Philippe Oger – Marketing Analyst
Before joining TrafficBroker in March 2008, Philippe studied winemaking in his
native France. If the siren call of online marketing didn’t tempt him away, he
might still be quaffing wine and stamping on grapes to this very day. As well
as wine, Philippe is interested in DJing particularly Hip Hop. Mixing hip hop
records and blending wines can’t be so different can it?

Fabrizio recently won Geek Of the Year in our 2007

last in Italian Series CX)

A question I keep asking myself: Why are there

The newest addition to the Strategy Team, Cecilia
joined TrafficBroker in September 2007 to

no tears but it was very hard).

little bit shorter.
Interesting Fact: In Hyperbolic Geometry there are less than 180 degrees in every triangle.
Favourite Film: Fight Club
Favourite TV Character: Quagmire
-
Noah
Noah Cantor – IT Manager
Noah comes to us with as varied a background as one person should have. After spending
several years at Berkeley, living the life of the pauper student, he moved on to Silicon
Valley to live the life of the spoiled start-up employee. An Alice-in-Wonderland-esque
set of circumstances brought him to the UK 4 years ago, but every year he returns to the
US and consumes all the Mexican food he can find.
